Bridging research and engineering
I am a computer scientist and software engineer focused on building systems that are private and secure by design. My doctoral research at Stevens Institute of Technology developed methods for running supervised machine learning and security analytics directly on encrypted data using fully homomorphic encryption, so organizations can detect threats without exposing the underlying logs.
Before my Ph.D., I spent several years shipping production software as a Senior Software Engineer at Philips and a Senior Applications Engineer at Oracle. Today I teach programming and cybersecurity as a Lecturer at Bowie State University, mentor student CTF teams, and maintain open-source tools and a free cybersecurity textbook.
